GOLF SANTA PONSA II
A round hole by hole
Opened in 1991,the Golf Santa Ponsa II course is 6.053 meters, 18 holes (Par 72).
The holes of Golf Santa Ponsa II are situated in pine woods and between large lakes, offering many varied options of play.
The 18th hole is a very interesting Par 3 where the green is situated in a piece of land which is the shape of the island of Mallorca.
This course also offers the facilities to limprove the game, with a driving range 350 meters in length with tees at both ends of 100 meters each, putting green and chipping area.
This course is for exclusive use of the shareholders although some important competitions have been held here:
- Open de Golf (European PGA Tour)
The PGA chose Golf Santa Ponsa II to host The Balearic Open in 1995, with G. Turner as winner. In other six ocassions it has been played in Golf Santa Ponsa I. - International H.R.H. Juan de Borbón (1994-2012)
- International H.R.H. Princesa Birgitta of Sweden (1991-2012)
- The Mentor Foundation (1998)
Other important players who have participated in these events are Adolfo Suárez, Prince Andrew of England, Michael Douglas or Frank Beckenbauer.
